Date and Time: Tuesday 27th March, 9am to 6pm

A practical conference, inspired by the Wolves in Wolves Trail (Wolverhampton 2017).
The conference will discuss how to avoid high costs when producing an arts trail in your own town or city, ensuring you achieve maximum local impact, high engagement levels and maintain high artistic quality.
Wolves in Wolves was delivered through an innovative partnership between Outside Centre (local charity), Wolverhampton BID, City of Wolverhampton Council, artists and up to 20 sponsors including some with international links.
The 30 wolf sculptures attracted over 100,000 people into the city centre, an income boost of £2 Million and increased footfall to city centre venues by as much as 50%.
Given the serious financial issues - local authorities, businesses, charities, art organisations are facing, it is becoming increasingly expensive to link with high-cost national ‘trail providers’. We are entering a new era of financial reality making it almost impossible for many local authorities, arts organisations and individual artists to even consider such a trail. This conference shows how to deliver a trail (of any kind) whilst also maintaining quality through innovative partnerships and in a way that even the most financially strained local authority / organisation can achieve.
Bringing together a number of organisations, key individuals and partners from Wolves in Wolves and the Moor Otters from Dartmoor, plus many more.
The day offers a guide on costs, what to do and what not to do. How best to aim high and deliver quality without going to high-cost national organisations or providers.
Here you can book your ticket.
This event is organised by Outside Centre.
